Adirondack Resorts Press Launches a Lifestyle Magazine for Lake George

Adirondack Resorts Press, Inc, the publisher of the Lake George Mirror newspaper, has announced that it will launch the first  glossy, four color lifestyle magazine devoted exclusively to  Lake George later this summer.

The Lake George Mirror Magazine will be published once a year. Every edition will be dedicated to one over-arching theme.

The theme of the inaugural issue will be “Boats and Boating on Lake George,” featuring articles about Lake George boating, past and present, by such authoritative writers as Hallie Bond, the Adirondack Museum’s former boat curator. The issue will also include the official program of this year’s Gold Cup Festival, the celebration of  the 80th anniversary of the 1935 Gold Cup races on Lake George that will be held in September.

Of course, for a magazine devoted to Lake George living, nothing could be more natural than dedicating an issue to boating. After the lake itself, nothing unites Lake George residents, visitors and communities more than a shared love of boats and the lake’s rich boating history. It’s the home of  world-renowned racers, wood boat builders,  tour boats and, of course, thousands of everyday boaters. Our magazine will feature exemplary stories from every category.

The magazine will be distributed and sold throughout the Lake George basin, to Lake George Mirror subscribers and at special events and boat shows.

Anyone interested in advertising in the premiere issue of the Lake George  Mirror Magazine, in selling copies or in contributing stories or photographs should contact editor and publisher Tony Hall at  afhall@lakegeorgemirror.com.
