Local artist and jewelry maker Sara Pfau’s pendants in the shapes of New York’s five boroughs – an extension of her Lake George pendants – have acquired an unexpected market: Japanese hip hop fans.

Her New York pendants were recently featured in a magazine called Hip Hop Insider.

“A Brooklyn-based artist, Sara Pfau created her own jewelry brand called ‘You Are Here.’ She designs gold and silver jewelry that silhouette chosen geography in the US.
